House update!

Well things are really starting to come along with the house. See those boards to the right on this pic. Yep thats the bonus room/mancave FINALLY going up. To say Jason is relieved is an understatement. It's going to be a bit smaller than originally planned since they had to make some changes due to the pitch of the roof or something, but.....at least its there! The front door is going in by the end of the week, the columns for the porches have been ordered and just came in, they are putting up the shingles now and hopefully starting the siding soon. The staircases inside the house aren't built yet though. Which drives me crazy! Right now we have to use a ladder to look around upstairs. They said building the stairs is a rainy day activity. I guess its more important to get the house locked up and "in the dry" before they do more of the inside stuff.

This second picture is the view from the back of the house. I love the back of the house more than the front I think. The second story window on the right is actually in the great room which is two stories tall with the window to the north and a balcony to the south where the second story bedrooms are. I like how the window brings in so much light into the great room/family room. 

Thats all for now! We are still having the urinal debate! But the plumber is supposed to start next week so I'm thinking I, oops I mean,WE might have to make that decision soon!
