Baby Bump pics 17, 18, 19 weeks

I know, I know.....I'm behind. But good news is I'm here to catch up! So here are the 17, 18, 19 week baby bump pics and 19 week update.

19 WEEKS UPDATE:
Baby Size: The twins are the size of grapefruits
Total weight gain: 19 pounds
Maternity clothes? I hate to say this, but yes. It was like 17 weeks hit, I woke up and BOOM.....hello big belly. This weekend Jason and I went to St. Louis for a day of shopping and I bought a bunch of maternity shirts and a pair of maternity jeans. I can still squeeze into my old jeans with a VERY stretched out hair tie, but when I tried on the maternity jeans it was like the heavens opened and I heard angels sing. Ok so that's a bit dramatic, but they were soooo much more comfortable that I totally got over the fact they were maternity jeans. I don't really know why I have been so against maternity clothes. I have wanted to be pregnant for so long you think I'd be all about them. But it was just really hard for me to open up to the idea that all the cute clothes in my closet will not be worn for a very long time. Oh well at least I still have my boots.
Sleep: I've been getting a little uncomfortable and waking up quite a bit during the night. So sleep isn't as great as it once was.
Miss Anything? Yes! Getting through a whole day without feeling like I've been hit by a truck!
Movement: Prickly pins and needles feelings in my belly! Sometimes feels like butterflies.
Food cravings: I've been drinking a lot of milk lately. Jason asked me the other day if I was training for a gallon challenge! Ha! Which is weird because I've never been a big milk drinker....unless of course there is a big plate of cookies to go with it. Cookies are my weakness.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.
Gender: Boy and girl!!!! Mason Dallas Rimini and Madeline Sophia Rimini
Symptoms: Along with waking up with a belly out of nowhere when I hit week 17... I also woke up feeling very pregnant. I had been feeling so great up until this point. I made it through the 1st trimester without one day nausea and, besides the fatigue, sometimes I even forgot I was pregnant I felt so great. But it has all caught up to me now. If I have a long day at work or did a little too much that day my entire body starts to hurt. My hands and feet are starting to swell a little and I am having the worst backaches!
Mood: I never know how to answer this one. Ok, I guess? Just tired! Maybe I should ask Jason for his opinion on this one!
Looking forward to: We have the 20 week ultrasound on Tuesday. My mom is going along with Jason and I so we are all excited to get a good long look at these sweet little babies.

Lots of shopping has been happening now that we know the genders. How cute are these little hats we bought at a local children's boutique called Trendy Kids.

The hat and socks we also got at Trendy Kids and the onsie is from Megan and Nigel.

Their closet is starting to fill up already! You would think they were coming in a few weeks with how full it's getting!

  1. Love how you did the babies' closet! The day you were born your Grandma Karen nearly bought out the stores. I can't remember how many outfits she brought up to the hospital that day. I am keeping those little Riminis in my prayers as well as you and Jason. Where do I sign up to babysit? Tell your mom she can't have all the slots!

  2. Once I found out I was pregnant and with two. I was in denial, especially to find out I'm 16 weeks. We didn't even notice any change. So I ran across your page. It brought me some comfort. To the fact of how I am feeling and that I'm not the only one.. And also to help me to see what we should do.. Shopping!! :) Thank you..

    1. I'm sure it is probably very overwhelming if you weren't expecting to hear there are two! Good luck to you! :)
